These terms apply to every file submitted and every service provided through Pipe Takeoff Pro, a service of Western Axis LLC. By uploading documents or ordering a service, you agree to them.
Verify every result before you rely on it
Takeoffs, scope reviews and ROMs are produced with AI and are meant to help you build your estimate, not to be your estimate. Isometric drawings are produced in many different formats, standards and levels of quality, so no result is guaranteed to be complete or correct on every drawing. You are responsible for checking quantities, sizes, specifications and every flagged item against your drawings before using the results for pricing, bidding, purchasing or fabrication.
What the service is
Pipe Takeoff Pro reads the drawings and documents you submit and returns a quantity takeoff, review or rough order of magnitude as a working aid for your own estimating team. It is not engineering, design, a material certification or a professional estimate, and it doesn't replace the judgment of a qualified estimator.
Accuracy
- Results depend on the quality, completeness and legibility of the documents you submit. Scanned, handwritten, partial or non-standard drawings may produce incomplete results.
- Items the AI can't read with confidence are flagged for review. An item that isn't flagged is not a guarantee that it's correct.
- Anything not shown on the submitted documents, such as later revisions, field changes or items by others, is not included.
Your responsibilities
- Submit complete, current documents for the scope you want taken off.
- Review and verify all results, including every flagged item, before using them.
- Make sure you have the right to share the documents you upload, including under any confidentiality or NDA terms with your client.
No warranty
Results are provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
Western Axis LLC is not liable for any loss, cost or damage arising from the use of the results, including bid errors, material shortages or overages, lost profit or delays. If liability is found despite these terms, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Your documents
You keep ownership of the documents you submit. They are used only to provide the service you ordered and are handled as described in the privacy statement.
Quotes and payment
Scope and price are confirmed with you before any work starts. Work begins once you accept the quote.
Prepaid ISO packs
- Prepaid sheets are drawn down as you submit jobs, one sheet per ISO drawing taken off.
- Packs are valid for [12] months from purchase. Unused sheets expire after that.
- Packs are [non-refundable] and can't be transferred to another company.
Free trial
One free trial per company, up to 50 ISO sheets, submitted from a company email address.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Orders placed before a change are covered by the terms in place when they were placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Texas].
